Day One
Well, I am off and running with it. Last night I made one day's worth of the lemonade drink. Squeaked so many lemons to come up with 12 tablespoons of juice. I was grateful for my Pampered Chef juicer. I haven't received the Grade B Organic Maple Syrup but I used Pure Grade A until I get the other in the mail. I was surprised how good the drink really is. The cayenne pepper which I used 1/2 teaspoon for 60 ounces of water wasn't bad at all.
I was very afraid of my lack of caffeine in the morning. So, I stopped drinking coffee 3 days ago. The headache was still very severe, I took some Motrin and it did get better. I did not drink the saltwater beverage, I cannot tolerate that, I didn't even try it. Just based on every one's experience that I've read, I know it's not happening. However, the dieter's tea I took last night did the job just fine. There's so many tea's out on the market but I think I am going to stick to the one I am used to. The instructions say to drink it at bedtime and in the morning. Well, I didn't take it this morning. But I will tomorrow morning.
One of the things that will take some getting use to is drinking water, I don't intake water all that well. I will need to drink no more than half the amount of lemonade beverage every day of water per day. I am foreseeing going home this evening will not be easy, at work today it hasn't been hard since Carolann doesn't eat anyway. Kim had a salad from McD. Now at home Curt will be eating something healthy which I will probably will want to eat too. He has decided today, he wants to do a cleanse also. Not the Master Cleanse but something similar, this will be interesting.
I can't wait for the 3-4 day mark when I will have more energy. This is the other reason I want to do the cleanse. Energy, I can't seem to get energized for nothing lately. Over the weekend, whenever I came in from doing yard work, I was ready to die.
Well, I made it through day 1. I have a headache right now but I usually do when I am hungry. I just finished my tea and it's time to go to bed.
